By accessing kiakhameleon.com or engaging the services of Kia Khameleon, you agree to the following terms. This is a premium, appointment-only service — these terms exist to protect both your experience and The Standard we uphold.

Acceptance of terms

By using this website or booking a service with Kia Khameleon, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or request services.

These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users of kiakhameleon.com and govern all service interactions, communications, and transactions with Kia Khameleon Braiding & Company.

Services offered

Kia Khameleon provides premium mobile cornrow braiding services.

Services are performed by appointment only at the client's preferred location within the Baltimore and DMV service area and any other area, by request.

All services are performed by Kia Khameleon, a professionally trained cosmetologist.

Kia Khameleon does not offer knotless braids, stitch braids, crochet styling, or loc services — only cornrow artistry as defined and presented on this site.

Kia Khameleon reserves the right to decline service to any individual at her sole discretion.

Booking & appointments

All appointments are confirmed via email, follow-up text and or phone call. A booking is not confirmed until written and or direct confirmation has been received from Kia Khameleon.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and complying with all preparation standards prior to their appointment. Failure to be properly prepared may result in cancellation of the appointment at the client's expense. Please refer to The Booking Agreement for full cancellation and rescheduling terms.

Intellectual property

All content on kiakhameleon.com — including but not limited to text, brand language, photography, logo, taglines, and the marks "Kia Khameleon," "The Khameleon Effect," "Klassic or Kouture," and "The Standard" — is the exclusive intellectual property of Kia Khameleon Braiding & Company.

No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, or used in any commercial capacity without prior written consent.

Unauthorized use of brand assets is a violation of intellectual property rights and will be pursued accordingly.

Photography & likeness

Kia Khameleon may photograph completed work for portfolio, editorial, and marketing purposes.

By booking a service, clients grant Kia Khameleon permission to use images of completed styles — not faces or identifiable features without explicit written consent — across business platforms including kiakhameleon.com and social media.

Clients who do not consent to photography may opt-out at their discretion.

Limitation of liability

Kia Khameleon is not liable for reactions, sensitivities, or adverse responses to hair products used during service. Clients are responsible for disclosing any known allergies or scalp conditions prior to their appointment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kia Khameleon Braiding & Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, services, or content — including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Kia Khameleon is not responsible for damages arising from the use of or inability to access this website, including any interruptions, errors, or omissions in site content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with services or website functionality is to cease use and contact us to address your concern.

Indemnification

By booking services with Kia Khameleon or using this website, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kia Khameleon Braiding & Company, its owners, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of kiakhameleon.com or breach of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
• Your booking, cancellation, or dispute of services
• Any alleged injury, damage, or adverse reaction related to services provided
• Any misrepresentation you make regarding your hair condition, scalp health, or product sensitivities

This indemnification obligation applies regardless of whether Kia Khameleon is found to be negligent or at fault.

Privacy & data handling

Your privacy is respected and protected. The collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on this site.

By using kiakhameleon.com or booking a service, you consent to the practices described therein. This includes how we collect, store, and protect your booking information, contact details, payment records, and any health or accommodations information you provide.

Data deletion 

Clients may request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting info@kiakhameleon.com. We will delete or anonymize your information within 30 days of written request, except where retention is required by law or necessary to complete pending transactions. Payment information is processed securely by third parties and is not stored by Kia Khameleon beyond what is necessary to fulfill your booking.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Baltimore City or Baltimore County, Maryland. By using this site or booking services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

Changes to these terms

Kia Khameleon reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Continued use of this site or services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
